From an Anonymous Reader

Your review of Avatar was irresponsible. It sent a critical message to others.

From this point on, I have blocked your website for my family and I have instructed my IT department to block your site for the entirety of my business operations.

I have also told friends and colleagues to avoid your site.

I'm really sad that this guy didn't leave contact info. I think a conversation with him would be quite rewarding.

Is this real? Good grief, people really get incensed. It's things like this that make me worry for Avatar's credibility. I like the film, but I don't think everyone has to like it. When its fans are so crazy [?]...

Irresponsible reviews...I'm interested as to what he means...

What exactly is a responsible review? Usually, I think these things are twelve-year-olds or spam. This one seems real, though. For the life of me I can't figure out what they're talking about. Coincidentally, I have just returned from watching Avatar and felt the same as you. I couldn't stop thinking about Dances With Wolves and I couldn't stop hearing Bones yelling, "Dammit, Jim, you can't write dialogue."

I love dumb people.

they provide SO many giggles. As long as they're not politicians in which case they provide reasons for me to cry.

maybe the fellow, along with his co-workers and family, take offense at you calling their favorite non-white, non-human people "Gumbys"

Posted by: Travis at February 4, 2010 8:31 AM

But they look like Gumbys.

A little late to the conversation, but let me add, "Whaah?" Like Encore, I'm also interested as to what he was talking about. Maybe he's confusing your discussion of racism with actually being racist?

Seriously? That's all the message said? How can I respect the reader's complaint if I can't understand it?

How's it going Mike?

How dare you have a different opinion on something? Didn't you get the memo that all opinions on everthing are supposed to be uniform? BTW, next week they announce what our favorite color is.
