Halloween Blog-a-Thon

Nathaniel R. over at The Film Experience is hosting a vampire-themed Halloween Blog-a-Thon on October 30. The idea is that interested bloggers write something, anything, about vampires in the movies and post it on that day. As the day goes on, Nathaniel will post links to all the participating blogs. Anyone can take part, whether you ordinarily write about movies or not.

I'm currently revisiting the Universal horror films of the 1930s and 1940s, researching an essay about the declining standard of living for Dracula and his offspring as the Universal horror cycle got weirder and sillier.
